Once again the popular online sportsbook BetDSI.com has released confirmation of a six-figure payout on a massive parlay ticket for football, in which the player hit on all 12 teams that he wagered on for a total prize of $150,000. The ticket was played with a risk of just $150, and with a combination of both college and NFL winners took home another big number.

It is no secret that parlay pay head bets usually generate higher odds than straight wagers, and the more teams that are played on a given ticket will always increased the payout. Think of a parlay as a string of straight wagers played on the same ticket in order to create a bigger payout, with the obvious risk being that each of those wagers has to win in order for the ticket to be a winner. Should even one of the bets lose, then the entire parlay ticket is considered a loser. The more teams that are played in a parlay the better the number of the payoff becomes, but the odds of winning decrease as well.
